A few weeks ago, we debuted our first ever candle class. There were snacks, drinks, and of course, candles. Our candle genius and teacher was one of our good friends Courtney. She owns Purveyors of Fragrance and does just about everything under the sun. The class was so much fun meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends.
As everyone arrived, everyone was able to select which container they wanted for their candle. The most fun part about these is that once they are used up as a candle, they can be reused as planters! While some sipped on sangria and wine, snacked on the cheeseboard, and shopped the showroom, the first group got started pouring their very own candles.
Courtney brought a variety of scents for everyone to choose from, and then we got to weigh out the wax, weigh out the oil, and then stir and pour into their containers. The results were fabulous and the office smelled of fall heaven for a few days after. As each group went the other was shopping around and chatting with their friends. Overall, we had a blast and can’t wait for the next!
